Appointment & Cancellation Policy

Rosen Dermatology is dedicated to giving our patients the highest quality care and is pleased to reserve appointment times especially for you. We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call and give us sufficient time to adjust our schedule, you may be preventing another patient from getting needed/requested treatment. In order to contain costs, guidelines have been established regarding appointment scheduling, re-scheduling, and cancellations.

Due to the large block of time reserved for cosmetic and surgical procedures, last minute cancellations cause significant scheduling difficulties for our office. So that we may provide the best care possible to all of our patients, we require a minimum 24-hour notice for all appointment changes. (This includes cancellations and re-scheduling.)

 

  • If a cosmetic procedure or surgery appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a fifty dollar ($50) fee – your insurance company will NOT cover this fee.

 

  • Multiple Missed Appointments/No Shows may require a fifty dollar ($50) reservation fee in order to schedule future appointments.

 

  • If an office visit/appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a twenty-five dollar ($25) fee – your insurance company will NOT cover this fee.

 

  • We understand that delays can happen. However, due to the nature of our business, if a patient arrives more than 15 minutes late, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.
